In Photography Essentials, students learn how to effectively a camera to create better photographs. This course will focus on how to use a digital SLR camera; how to compose better photographs; and how the history of photography influences photography today. Projects will use digital cameras along with Adobe Lightroom, a computer program most professional photographers utilize. It is expected that students have access to a digital SLR. Access to an off-camera flash is helpful.
