Hello all!  This is my 24th year as a visual arts educator at WMHS.  In addition to teaching in the "Wu" I am also a Boston University College of Fine Art alumni (BFA and MFA), CrossFitter, snowboarder, Star Wars/sci fi-fantasy geek and working artist who lives up near the ocean and NH border.
I like to remain engaged and I like social media (within reason, of course!)  Feel free to follow/contact me via the following:

Feel free to also peek at my personal artwork as well:

Classroom Philosophy
Yoda was a wise Jedi...and sets the right mood for room D126.
Although each class has its own set of expectations, there are several constants you'll find when it comes to being a successful member of my "tribe."  Those constants are:
*Come in each day with a great, positive attitude.  The wonderful thing is if you had an off day yesterday, today is a new day with new possibilities!
*Come in prepared for what the day brings; at least arrive with ideas and a pencil, eraser and sketchbook.
*Make sure you are ready to work.  If you don't have a pencil or eraser, I always have some ready to be purchased...
*Treat fellow students and my supplies with care and respect.
*Understand that not everyone thinks alike and that's okay.
*Understand that art is important to me and many within the class. It may not be as important to you, but for many of us, it is one of our favorite things.
*It's okay if you don't want to be an artist or don't end up loving art!  If you give it your best, that's all I can ask.  I don't love olives or spreadsheets, but I keep giving them a try every few months...
